I decided to take a fishing trip before a massive cold front came through to see how the fish would react. The morning was on the mild side with 67 degree air temps at 7 am and water temps at 42 degrees. The fish were active right off the bat and the bite got better until the front passed and the barometer started to rise. The best bite was during the rain as the front passed over. At 3 pm the air temp had dropped to 45 degrees and the water temp was 43 degrees.
