Outer Banks Bass Fishing

August 28, 2015

Today I went to the Roanoke River near Plymouth to do a little pre-fishing for an upcoming tournament.  I caught a lot of small fish and a few keepers mixed in here and there.  I think that fishery still has a lot of growing to do after the hurricane in 2012.

Outer Banks Bass Fishing

August 22, 2015

Today I had a full day trip with Gary from Virginia.  We fishing Kitty Hawk Bay yesterday and today we fished North River.  The bite started out fast and furious in the morning and then was pretty consistent for the rest of the day.  Thanks Gary for great couple days of fishing!

Outer Banks Bass Fishing

August 21, 2015

Today I had a trip with Gary from Virginia and we tried Kitty Hawk Bay to see if it has recovered from the hurricane in 2012.  Gary caught a few nice keeper fish but the numbers are still very low and what worried me the most is there were very few small fish.  We still had a good time and Gary still caught a few nice fish.

Today I had a full day trip with Bill from Virginia on East Lake.  The day started out with some good catches and them slowed down.  Bill had to work for them in the afternoon, but he slowed down and found the bite.  Thanks Bill for a fun day on the water!!!!
