Outer Banks Bass Fishing

May 26, 2016

Today I had a fun full day trip with Tom and Jim from Virginia.  It was a little different than most trips due to the fact we tried a bit of everything and caught fish with each tactic.  Tom wanted to start by catching a few bass on the fly rod, then we switched to the light tackle rods, and then caught some bass in the afternoon.  We had a good time telling fishing stories and Tom and Jim showed their fishing talent by catching fish in the afternoon with some pretty stiff wind.  Thanks guys for a good day!

Outer Banks Bass Fishing

May 25, 2016

Today I had a full day trip with Carl and John from Ohio.  The sudden hot weather and high pressure slowed the fishing a little, but Carl and John worked hard and caught some fish.  We had a fun time and good conversation.  Great fishing guys!!!

Outer Banks Bass Fishing

Today I went to the Perquimans River with Judd to scout around for an upcoming tournament.  We had a good day, looking for new spots, and trying some different lures.
