Outer Banks Bass Fishing

June 24, 2015

Went out today after a small cold front came through last night.  Water temp cooled from the 90's to the mid to upper 80's and it turned the big fish on.  I caught a lot of small fish, but I did catch two hammers!!!  It might be hot outside but the fish are still biting and you can catch a big one if you slow down and fish the shade.  Call today for a memorable trip  to a place on the Outer Banks that you never knew existed.  I have a few dates open each week for the next few weeks.

Outer Banks Bass Fishing

June 16, 2015

Took a short trip on the hottest day of the year so far.  The heat index was 105 degrees, but the fish were biting if you slowed down.  Caught a bunch of small fish but no hammers.  The water temp got into the low 90's by noon.

Outer Banks Bass Fishing

Today for the second full day trip, Gary and I went to North River to see if we could catch some bigger fish.  The quality was better and Gary put around 20 fish in the boat before we were ran off by thunderstorms.  Thanks Gary for the last two days, I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did.

Outer Banks Bass Fishing

June 12, 2015

Today I had the first of two full day trips with Gary from Virginia.  We decided to break the days up and fish two different places.  Today we went to Tulls Creek and Northwest River, both about 45 - 50 minutes from the Outer Banks.  Gary caught over 25 bass and both of us had some fun catching and releasing undersized striped bass on light tackle.  I bet we caught over 20 while they were schooling.  Thanks Gary for the good trip.
