Outer Banks Bass Fishing

November 8, 2013

After a long vacation trip, a week fishing the state tournament, and a couple weeks getting things done I finally hit the water to start  finding the fish for the my favorite time of fishing.  When most fishermen put up there rods for the winter, you can have some of your best days in numbers and size all year.  The fish are getting fat for the winter, and you can catch fish all winter on the Outer Banks if you dress right and fish the right spots.

Judd and I decided to fish the Pasquotank River near Elizabeth City.  The water temp started out at 57 degrees and warmed slightly to 59 degrees by the end of the day.  We caught a bunch of small fish to start with but we found the bigger fish later in the day.  We caught over 25 fish all day including a couple of nice puppy drum.
