Today was the third of three trips with Gary from Virginia this Thanksgiving week. Today we switched up and went to Little River. Little River is about an hour from the Outer Banks near Elizabeth City. When we got there we found the river to be muddy and cold at 48 degrees. We caught a few fish but we decided to pack up and travel a few minutes to the Perquimans River near Hertford. The Perquimans was a lot clearer and the water started at 52 degrees. Gary caught a few fish and for the third trip in a row caught a big fish and beat his mark with a 5.38 pound nice healthy fish to once again set the mark for the Catch the Hammer contest with only about a month to go. Thanks Gary for three great trips

Today was a full day trip with Gary From Virginia on North River. It was the second of three trips Gary had scheduled for the Thanksgiving holidays. With post cold front conditions the water temp had dropped from the low 60's to the upper 40's. The fishing slowed so we slowed down and caught a few fish. For the second trip in a row, Gary caught a big fish to up his own record for this years Catch the Hammer contest. Gary caught a 5.08 nice fish to up his mark.

Today I had a half day trip with Gary from Virginia on North River. The day started a little slow but Gary kept fishing and caught a big fish that weighed 4.80 pounds and took the lead in the Catch the Hammer contest. Great catch Gary!
