Outer Banks Bass Fishing

June 25, 2014

I went to North River for a few hours of fishing by myself.  The fishing mission was to fish places that I have never fished before to find some new fish and new areas.  It's kind of hard to find banks that I have not fished before, most of those type places are in  or near the main river that's gets a lot of inter-coastal traffic.  I did find some places, but most had just single fish here and there and no big numbers but the fish were quality fish.  I took a picture of a couple of the nicer ones.  I did catch a flounder and a bass on consecutive casts with a spinnerbait.  Now that's Outer Banks bass fishing!!!

Today I had a half day trip with Kevin and Tom from Maryland.  The river was a little tough and stingy today but Kevin and Tom stuck with it and caught some fish at the end of the trip.  Thanks for the good day and way to stay after them!!!!

Today I had a full day trip with Gary from Virginia.  We had some fun in morning fishing the lower river and then we went up river to fish soft plastics.  Gary even caught a bass at the end of the day with his fly rod and he had several more strikes.  As always thanks for the great company and great fishing day!
